Sopore, Dec 19 (KNO): Aganwari workers in Sopore town of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Monday held a protest demonstration against the newly approved Human Resource (HR) Policy, demanding the policy be revoked. Protestors while talking to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said the policy framed by the government is totally unacceptable and should be revoked immediately. “If the government is claiming of 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padao', is this how they are going to save the future of Beti's across the country,” they said. They said they will continue their protest till the order is revoked. “We welcome the retirement policy but what about afterwards,” they asked. Notably, the government in November this year approved the proposal of comprehensive Human Resource Policy to govern the engagement, leaves, promotion and other important aspects of this very vital work force of the department—(KNO)
